National service scheme popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Mahatma Gandhi centenary year 1969 and aimed community service’s is an Indian government sector public service program conducted by the ministry of youth affairs and sports of the government of India.

NSS-MOTTO
The NSS of college works with the objective of development of the personality of students through community service. NSS is the right platform where the youth involved with real life social activities and there by become responsible citizen of India. The motto of NSS “Not me, But you” reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the needs for selfless service and appreciation of other persons point of view and to show consideration for fellow human beings. The aim of NSS unit of our college is to demonstrate this motto in all its activities.

NSS has the following objectives:

• Understand the community in which they work.
• Understand themselves in relation to their community.
• Identify the needs and problems of community and involve them in problem solving.
• Utilize their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems.
• Develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters.
