The Jayarani Arts & Science College has evolved so resplendently as a meritorious edifice of learning, exclusively for women, at the rear side of the Jayarani Educational Institutions. Our Congregation entitled FIHM witnessed its inception by virtue of the sagacity of our Founder Rev. Fr.Louis Savinien Dupuis, who laid the foundation stone for it on the 16th of October 1844 at Pondicherry. Since then, with the torrential blessings of our Patroness Immaculate Heart of Mary, our Congregation has been elevating the stature of women, thus making them stride in a progressive path by dint of educational institutions in India and abroad. Our Congregation that has been fulfilling the glorified mission 'Sanctification of Sisters for the Sanctification of women' by enthroning love and sacrifice as its gracious hall mark, has now erected a women's college to give an edge to the female gender to outshine in their lives, in response to the long cherished wish of the commoners inhabiting the vicinity of Nethimedu.
